Determined to make a difference in his life, we embarked on a collaborative journeywithJD, recognizing the profound impact that music could have on his path toredemption and fulfilment. We booked a studio session, providing him with theplatform to unleash his creativity and craft his sound with precisionand purpose.

As the music flowed and the beats reverberated through the studio walls, wewitnessed the transformation unfolding before our eyes. With each lyric penned andevery note struck,JDpoured his heart and soul into his art, channelling hisexperiences, struggles, and dreams into melodies that resonated with authenticity and passion.

Yet, our support didn’t end with the studio session. We stood byJD’sside as heembarked on the next chapter of his musical journey–a music video shoot thatwouldcapture the essence of his artistry and showcase his talent to the world. From offering guidance and encouragement to lending a helping hand behind the scenes, our team was committed to ensuring thatJD’svision came to life in all its glory.

What inspired you to become a musician?
My last project “No Chorus Necessary” was an EPI made to show people that too many artists rely on a catchy hook to make up for alack of penmanship and skill. This was my way of proving myself as a lyricist, 7tracks of straight bars with an interlude of me and my mum on the phone.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced in your career so far?
My biggest challenge has definitely been promotion and networking. I don’t have abig enough budget to promote my songs properly and in Scotland there aren’t alottaof people willing to work with each other.

What inspired you to become a musician?
I’d say my biggest musical influences right now are Dave, Potter Payper, J Cole andTrip-pie Redd for his versatility.

What is your favorite song to perform live?
Performing my newest release “LUCIFER” live is different to the rest. Just hearingthe people already know the words before it was even out astonished me.

What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
The one piece of advice I can give is to keep going. No matter how desperate yoursituation is keep going. Don’t let anyone try and tell you oth-erwise because at theend of the day you’re only competition is yourself.
